What do you need to succeed? Workshop covers: Networking with other top students\; Compile future goals\; Organize college entrance materials\; Success strategies\; Positive communication skills\; Interview skills\; Prepare for college entrance exams. Application/Entry materials Due by May 7\, 2014:\n\n1. Essay (500-750 words)\n\n2. Copy of your grades from the current school year (must be all As and Bs)\n\n3. 1 letter of reference (Choose a character reference who will be able to best discuss your strengths which will aid you in your future successes)\n\n4. Documentation of your volunteer experiences Essay prompt: "I believe that the opportunity to achieve academically will allow me to ---------------. Having access to _______________will allow me to _________________.\n\n\n\nResearch shows that people have the potential to reach maximum success when they have both access and opportunity.\n\nDate: Saturday\, June 7\, 2014.\n\nTime: 9 am - 1pm\n\nCost: $150 for qualifying applicants (Must be in the top 12 scoring applicants) $100 for 1st and 2nd place applicants **\n\n\n\nThis workshop is capped at 12 participants. Researched based studies show that 8-12 participants is ideal for optimal benefits. ** 1 workshop per month will be given. Each time you must apply.
